For over four decades, Dr. Arun Jetli has been a driving force behind America’s top junior player development. An educator, innovator, and mentor whose influence spans generations. With a PhD in philosophy and a coaching lineage that traces back to the legendary Harry Hopman, Dr. Jetli combines philosophical depth with elite-level coaching mastery.
Training Philosophy
His signature training methodology, rooted in critical thinking, individualized development and time-tested discipline, has shaped more than 50 Division I athletes and several touring professionals, including WTA and ATP standouts like Nicole Gibbs, Lauren Davis, and Sunil Sipaiya.
Building a Movement
In 1984, he founded Arun’s Tennis Academy, igniting a new era of junior development across the Midwest and beyond. Under his leadership, the ATA – Arun’s Tennis Academy became a launchpad for national champions and collegiate stars, while also revitalizing club programs at venues like The Riviera Country Club, The Cleveland Racquet Club and Peak Performance. Whether increasing junior clinic attendance, boosting club profitability, or mentoring future coaches, Dr. Jetli’s impact has been both strategic and deeply personal.
